Google Classroom
Google Classroom is used as a central learning platform to strengthen the partnership between home and school. Each week, parents and carers can access clear overviews of learning, including photographs that showcase children engaged in their learning and enjoying provision—particularly within Early Years and Key Stage 1.
Teachers share positive messages directly with the children, helping to celebrate effort, achievement, and positive attitudes to learning.
For Key Stage 2, we provide a weekly set of five suggested questions to support meaningful conversations at home about learning taking place in school.
Google Classroom is also used to share practical guides and ‘how to’ resources for parents and carers, enabling them to confidently support learning at home. In school, children use Google Classroom at times where it meaningfully enhances learning, with use carefully planned and lesson-dependent, ensuring technology is purposeful and supports high-quality teaching rather than replacing it.
